- This species lays eggs on beach early summer to summer. Female adults are found on beaches during the season. Green turtle is found nationwide in Japan, the areas observed are concentrated in the Ogasawara Islands and the Ryukyu Group (below Satsuma Islands). This species mainly feeds on seagrass, but sometimes it consumes animals, too.
