Species Distribution
Iheya, Izena, Okinawa, Tokashiki, Aka, Kume, Miyako, Ishigaki, Iriomote, and Tokunoshima Islands. Outside of Japan, this species is distributed in areas such as Taiwan, Southern China, Indochinese Peninsula, Thai, Malaysia, Himalayan Range, India, and Sri Lanka.
Okinawa Red List of Threatened Species: Vulnerable
It is a wintergreen perennial plant, and it has pseudobulb close to the root. Pseudobulb is an organ that stocks nutrients at internodes. Eulophia graminea is a familiar plant that can be found among grasses or roadsides. It blooms between April and July.
