- The species is found under or around evergreen broad-leaved trees, rocky areas, and cemeteries. It is observed between May and August and it is active at nighttime. They like to hide in holes of rocks during daytime hours.Iheyajima Island is the only known habitat for the species. The population is small and it is at risk of extinction due to loss of habitats in natural forests.
