- It is thought to share the same ancestor as Rhinogobius brunneus. Just like Rhinogobius sp. BB, Rhinogobius sp. YB is thought to spend its whole life in rivers, but there are differences in habitat conditions and the life history. For near future preservation, understanding species distribution and genetic composition are urgently needed.
