- It is distributed in moist broad-leaved evergreen forests. This species is nocturnal; it can be found in places like holes in rocks during the daytime. During nighttime, it gets active to looks for food. During the winter time, it slows down, but does not hibernate. Usually, geckos do not have eyelids and they clean their eyeballs by licking. Family of Eublepharidae, also known as Eyelid Geckos, can close their eyes with eyelids.
