- Its shell has three raised lines, the back has jagged cuts, and the upper jaw has a medial hook. The species prefers moist, mountainous forests, therefore, it can be found close to rivers in mountainous terrain. It feeds on terrestrial snails, earthworms, insects, plant sprouts and fruits.
