Mangrove trees are used for logs and dyes, and leaves provide anticancer agents. Mangroves can grow in brackish water, which is a mixture of sea water and freshwater, and also can survive in seawater. Plants in the family of Rhizophoraceae have an important role to form mangrove trees, the forest in the ocean, by hosting animals such as fish, shellfish, and birds.
